Lipedema Science Coming of Age

The first Lipedema World Congress outside Europe brings the field to the Asia Pacific region.

Lymphoedema and Lipedema: What future lies ahead, between lights and shadows?

The International Lymphoedema Framework and the Italian Lymphoedema Framework met in Rome, in collaboration with the Lipedema World Alliance and the International Lipedema Association. The programme included sessions on the genetics of lipedema and on conservative and surgical treatment, and a meeting of patient associations on 28 October.

This was not a Lipedema World Congress. The LWA took part in collaboration with the organisers.
